Ramon Veras

Ramon Veras is one of the highest-ranked instructors in the Goju-Ryu karate organization in the United States. He has dedicated over 34 years of his life to practice, competition, and research in the martial arts. In April 1999 he was certified as a 6th degree black belt by the Master of The Okinawa Goju Ryu karate federation.

Because of his interest in technical aspects of martial arts training, Sensei Ramon became a certified personal trainer, with a focus on optimizing preparation for martial arts. This led him to study Tudor Bompa’s Sport Science Training System and become representative of the Bompa training System in the USA.

Today Sensei Ramon supports schools in Panama, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica Honduras, Venezuela, Canada, Angola, Mexico, and the United States. As a Technical Director of POGKF, Sensei Ramon teaches karate seminars internationally (USA, Mexico, Dominical Republic, Panama, Angola, and Puerto Rico). Sensei Ramon is an accomplished competitor with several national and international titles. His students include many champions at the State, National, and International levels.
